LINDA J WALTON
Book

Linda Jane had the original vision for "Charlie's Story" and has written the book. The vision for the musical came in a dream in 2001 and the reality of it has been developed over several years of hard work with the team. She has written and published articles and short stories (and won a prize), but this is her first musical. Her parents have been active investors in musical theatre which is the art form she most enjoys.

She spent 12 years in marketing, holds an MBA and runs her own executive search business.

PAUL KNIGHT
Music and Lyrics

As a writer/composer Paul's output includes the ballet "City Slick", "Bunter" (Northcotte), "Ello Ello Ello" (Oldham Coliseum), "Prisoner of Panto" (Calgary and London), "Esther" (Spitalfields Festival and Palace Theatre), "Shake the Nation" (Liverpool Cathedral and Spitalfields Festival), "The Happy Prince" (Intermission London), a children's musical "Toothy Towers" as well as eight Christmas pantomimes for Oxford Playhouse Productions. He has arranged and written scores for Caucasian Chalk Circle (Box Clever), Othello (Wooden O), Winter's Tale, Comedy of Errors, Macbeth and The Merry Wives of Windsor for Oxford Shakespeare Company. In 2006 he composed an original score for the 400th anniversary of the first performance of Macbeth which was produced in its original setting at the Great Hall Hampton Court also for OSC. Most recently he has written the music and lyrics for "Christmas Carol" and "Treasure Island" both produced by Hidden Pearl Productions, and he was opera arranger on Stephen Poliakov’s new production "Capturing Mary".

DOUGLAS McJANNET
General Manger

Douglas spent 8 years at the Ambassador Theatre Group producing musicals including The Rocky Horror Show and Guys and Dolls. He is currently managing Dirty Dancing and Never Forget.

MAGGIE COLVIN

Maggie has written some of the lyrics.

She runs her own design business and writes regularly for several fashion magazines. She has presented TV shows and feature films for the BBC and written books on interior design including a book for Laura Ashley.
